Some tips for adult blog owners
 

Ever since blogs became the "next big thing" in porn many of you have been wasting time on completely sucky, unsuccessful porn blogs. Here are some pointers.

# Update often. This one goes without saying, but many of you manage to fuck it up anyway.

# Keep it short and simple. There's a reason your surfers are reading a porn blog instead of Tolstoy.

# Make it funny/edgy. People want entertainment, they don't care that you think girl X is hot. Unless you're a celeb, really unique or (pretending to be) a hot chick, surfers don't care about you and your personal thoughts.

# Pretend to be a hot chick. Or anything else that interests surfers. Some custom content to give your blog a "real" feel won't hurt either. make sure your blog develops its own personality.

# Catch on to the "thing of the day". If you are among the first to notice big internet hypes, people will send your link to others and will link to you on their blogs. Viral and se traffic converts well. Very well.

# Use lots of media. Funny/sexy vids and pics entertain surfers, and keep them coming back.

# Find quirky articles or links, and put them on your blog. People want to waste time, and since you probably aren't a gifted writer your writings won't do. So, give them surfing material instead.

If you MUST write a novel, (LOL @ Tolstoy), try making it highly erotic and not just "in, out, repeat if necessary." And PLEASE mind the spelling and grammar. Folks who are reading a blog actually do tend to be people who appreciate correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. :)

And as for the 5% of us that read his books, do we now what Tolstoy means?
