Well, not being from the US doesn't mean you must do cheap work. Yes, quality costs mor initially, but it'll also end up making you more in the long run. :)

$1,500 is a helluva price. And sometimes folks, you get more than you pay for.


With that said I have to add I have never done business with the companies that threw out those low prices. If the sites look good I might do some in the future though.

That's a shame.

Those same designers are also the ones who dont' know shit about this industry or how to convert traffic. Sure their designs may look good, but that is a VERY small piece of the puzzle

You'll always see a good influx of fresh blood in the ranks of designers. Some may keep selling their stuff just because thir prices are ridiculously low, but if you look at many of their creations you can tell they don't know jack shit about selling. In fact, in the cases of many the only reason why they do sell their designs to others is because they can't make two red cents on their own.

Sure, hire a paysite designer just because *you* think his stuff looks good and he works cheaply. One month later you'll probably end up shitcanning that very design, because conversions will be pure shit. Buying an *expensive* design that converts at 1:500 is a lot cheaper than buying a cheap one that ends up converting at 1:1500.
