Should I be pissed?
 

So I was at a resturant today and spent like an hour then and when I left forgot an important legal document and realized when I was about two mins away. I returned and this was all withen 5 mins and the girl was just finishing washing the table down but everything was gone including the docment and all the dishes... I asked about the document thinking that due to the professional nature of it and the fact that it say on it in big bold letters "Personal and Confidential" including my name and adress and any contact info they would need, they might have put it aside and if I didn't come back would have tried to contact me. Instead when I got there less than 5 mins after we had left and asked the girl cleaning the table she said she didn't know anything about ut and went looking and then came back with it soaking wet and said it was in the garbage!

Don't you think they should have looked at it or at least recoginized it wasn't garbage and at least held onto to it and NOT thrown it in the garbage? Do I have a right to be angry?

It is sad, but it does happen. I would at least complain the the manager, and then I dont think that I would return to the place.

You fucked up not the restaurant.

You do have a point there... I just though since she seemed to speak english and we had left a good tip they might have handled it differently... customer service you know... but as I said I am only human and she is also! Point well taken...
