Need a new car stereo system....how much $$ to spend and what should I get?
 

I'm starting to revamp the 85 Olds Delta 88 coupe I bought and I'm getting a system before anything else. I need a basic system that plays CD's and MP3's with some decent base that can be felt from down the street...

What should I get?

first off what car u want it for and how much do u wannt spend

well i would change all speakers on the inside i would go with kickers they have bin making some good shit.

i have everything kickers 2 - 12" COMPVR in custom made box
2 6x9 for the back 4way plus 4tweeters 2 front 2 back and front speaks are 6" but i have 2 amps and 1 battry for just the system each amp 2,000 watts total for 4,000watts you can hear my bass about 3-4 blocks down it is extremly loud and i also have my whole car dinamited that alone cost me 2gz my system cost me 3gz and my wires cost me about 800$ because i have negitive -2gage i might be able to take some pics for you and post it up tomorrow

Rig the passenger seat with some extra bass right under the seat.
Flip a switch and have your woman wet by the time you get her home.

I thought have a nice system was cook for a while. So after getting my escalade I went ahead and got a nice alpine system. I haven't even hooked them all back up after my Chicago trip 2 weeks ago. I just drive as often any more. Wish I wouldn't have went with a nice system and put the money into something else.
