I just saw BatMan Begins -- That movie Sucked

I almost fell asleep, it was so boring. I considered walking out because it was long and dull.
Why are people saying this movie was so great? Some of the fight scenes were good, especially the one where Bruce refused to kill that guy was awesome, and the visuals were good but thats it.

A bunch of asian ninja guys who live in huts and caves in the middle of nowhere, asia have no phone or tv or anything, but they know Gotham city, a city in america, has a high crime rate. And they want to bring justice to the city, by killing all the innocent people in it.

But these ninjas, who live in a cave in the mountains of fartfuck China, somehow have tons of money to give to pay the mob and all the cops off.

So the police, who are ALL corrupt(??), release murderers and rapists out of the asylum because theyre being paid to. Not because they care if these criminals will hurt innocent people or hurt their own families or anything.

Batman has all these cool mini exploisives in his weaponry but doesnt use any of them. All he uses are his batarangs and his rope. So lame.

Scarecrow started out fucking awesome, but he was stopped with a stun gun? And he stayed down the rest of the movie?
What the fuck?
And he turned out to be just a secondary villain. He would have been cool if they made him the focus, like they did with the green goblin in spiderman.
Bouncing around from him to the Liam Neesan guy as the villains was confusing.

When the train is headed towards the Wayne building, that old guy and his team in the building just sit there, waiting for the train to come and hit them and blow them up. He doesnt run to save himself or anything, his whole group stays.

That movie was lame. Spiderman was 100x better and more entertaining and actually made sense. Xmen was better too.

Katie Holmes looked hot though. In her last scene you can see her hard nipples through her blouse. :winkwink:

From 1 to 10 I give it a 5. disappointing

different strokes for different folks - personally I think that movie was awesome - you should check out the comics sometime, maybe then things'd make a little more sense, who knows.. :upsidedow

Spiderman sucked compared to this movie which was really good. Made spiderman look goofy actually. Also, Katie homes looked average just like her character was meant to look. You're right, Scarecrow was tight. The only things I didn't like were the gratuious car chase scene and then when Lian Neeson (the end-all master ninja of them all) and Batman square up in the train at the end....Neeson puts up his dukes like some Guido in 1950's bar room fistfight. That part evoked an instant chuckle. Otherwise I liked the darkness and non-kiddyshit tone of the movie, unlike spiderman and Xmen

That's because you love the "fag" batman version where he's more colorful and feminine. And you also miss Robin. Did you get a manicure after or before the movie?

That was another thing. that Fucking car scene was long and dumb, he leads them on a chase throughout gotham and is headed right towards the Wayne mansion and loses them right before going into the bat cave. And they dont keep looking to follow him or anything, or guess that he's somehow around the wayne estate.

About Neeson, in the beginning when he was training Bruce, didnt it look like you were watching Star Wars? They were wearing Star Wars outfits and Liam was talking to Bruce like "use the force."

But you know what else is bad, Liam's character was so badly written that I dont even know his name. Do you know his character's name?
All I know is "Liam Neeson.", I dont even know the villains name.
I know Scarecrow name though. He was badass, but as soon as he started to get good he was taken out, by a chick. :disgust

Hey I was siked about this movie going in. I thought there was going to be tons of fight scenes and he was going to be like a ninja, like Snakeeyes from GI Joe kind of thing, but the fight scenes were short and small. I wanted more action and less intense conversations.

Scarecrow was so cool and freaky but he taken down by fucking Katie Holmes, in 1 shot of her girly stun gun. and the main Villain was so dumb in his reasoning I couldnt take him seriously.

The villain is seeking justice by killing everyone who lives in Gotham? YOu eat that up?

Funny and true. I dont remembe Neesons characters name. I was just calling him Quai Gon after the movie. But yes, also very Jedi-like. But still far better than the other childish beaver-like Batman movies of recent past. To me, the car chase scene in Batman was like The Matrix 3 was to the Matrix. They went from intriguing philisophical dialogues and deep theoretical constructs to 2.5 hours of Battle Star Galactica.

Can't say it was really good movie. But I also can't say that I'm regreting about a time I spent to watch it.

That's pretty much how I saw it the whole first hour was incredibly boring, the second hour was ok, but the whole story was just ridiculous.

It is like I tell my 16 year old daughter... "If you have to explain it, it isn't interesting or funny."

I think this falls into that same category.

So...you rather watch a movies with neons everywhere (AND on the batmobile, you know, so ppl NOTICE him & his pimped out ride.) and with a batman who's wearing a rubber suit with nipples on them... ?

i keep getting new ideas. anyway, the movie is true to the comic and you must remember that itis called batman begins. it is about how he became batman. you cant expect it to start off with batman kicking ass and no back story. if you want more info and Ras Al Guhl, youll need to read the comics.

having scarecrow defeated by a tazer isnt anyhting crazy. hes just a normal wimpy doctor. the villans arent like villans from spiderman or superman. there are no special powers in batman.

also, batman was never big on using explosives or guns. he used a grapling hook and those bat shaped ninja stars. and if he did use weapons late ron, he sure as hell wouldnt of have them developed yet. its "batman begins" not "batman in the middle of his career"
