WMV Screenshots - Best Method?

Use Ifran View. Play the movie in Ifran View, pause it at the right place. Do PrtScr, paste. Then do sharpen and just colours. I have just done 400 by hand this way and they come out really well.

I take a cap in Frame-Shots (former SnatchIt) and then process in Photoshop.

Sharpen, color and brightness adjust...play around with things to see what works.

I am using frame-shots too and I like it. It's fast and I just adjust them with the program.

In most cases, it does do the trick without needing to open them in Photoshop.

Having good quality wmv files probably helps :thumbsup

We use it and photoshop the thumb after.

Hunter_ST 06-28-2005 03:25 PM

Yeah it helps to PS the thumbs afterwards...

bump for an awesome and very informative thread; not many around here!

i've always used "Snag-It", very easy to use and an awesome way to take pics of IM convos as well.

I've been using snag-it or windows movie maker, it works for me. Then Photoshop if it needs sharpening etc
