Man i was a huge fan of the mustang and was planing to buy a new one 3 years from now. I changed my plan after i saw the new 2005 one. Its look ok on pics but in real life it just looks like another shitty car. What a fucking disappointment!

Now there is going to be a new 2006 mitsubishi eclipse, didnt really liked the old one. The new one looks fucking great! Black Body, Body kit, Black Rims .. man, it is going to be kick ass what im done with it. Im already saving $ for this. I cannot wait!!!!

the new stangs look WAY better than anything from 94 - 05. but those new mitsu eclipses....man, i think i am in love. i caught the commerical the other day for the first time and have been drooling over their website since. i just wish it is was RWD.

Are you serious dude? It looks like somebody took a ball of PlayDough and dropped it on the kitchen floor and modeled the new Eclipse out of the resulting deformed shape. Or maybe an upsidedown bathtub. Or maybe the automotive version of a shoter, fatter, balder George Costanza.

Anyone remember toyota supra? You know the one people coustomize and make to like 1000hp? (they stoped making them in 1998). 2006 eclipse has a similar but better look than that. I was to coustomize my eclipse to look like the supra below. I would change the rims to be completely black though, some gfx, change exhaust and also lower it more to the ground.

my cousin has a black/black gt convertible. i personally dont like them, but the new Cobra is gonna be amazing. it used a detuned Ford GT engine. Ford racing will be offering the GT tune so it should put up numbers over 500HP and 500tq. will hang with the new z06 for much less.

The body is slightly different and better looking also. It dubbed the Shelby GT i think.

And in 6 years the value of your eclipse is nothing or what is commonly known in the auto industry as " a dollar car". Be young , have fun, but I hope the new eclipse will cost you under 20k with all the neat features you want.

i like fat asses and wide open grills. that is a nice looking car. plus what really got me, is you can get two tone leather seats with white, and your exterior color.

Eclips is a coustomizable car dude. If you buy it and dont do anything to it it wont look that great, you have to add shit. Here is what some one did to the 2004.

If i was being coky i would have said i would get a farari, i have been wating to buy a sport car since i was 10. Eclipse is a realistic expectation.

I'm still partial to the 1st and 2nd gens. Everything after that was just another iteration of the "me too" FWD V6 gheyness that all the other guys are selling. I haven't even looked at the stats, but that new Eclipse has "3200lbs+" written all over it.

I wish toyota supra was still selling, that is my all time fav car.

I guess, if you're into show cars. To me, Buscher had a hot looking DSM back when he was running 12.9's. Now that John Sheppard bought it a while back, and put it into the 8's, it STILL looks fucking hot. Wanna know why? Because it doesn't have any lame body kit or huge wing on it.

I've been into DSM's since '91 or '92 and I just find it disgusting what Mitsubishi has done to the line. Good thing for the Evo though :thumbsup And it's good to see a lot of the oldschool guys from Todd Day's "Talon Digest" are still holding it down. :thumbsup

It's pretty clear that I'm a huge Mustang fan. However, I'll admit the new Eclipse looks good. It looks "clean" and I like it's lines. Otherwise, I don't know much about the car.

The new Mustang is awesome. It's nice to see a car company finally make a decent car at a decent price. The Mustang has a long history of bring the "average man's sports car" and that's exactly what it is. For under $30k you get a decent car with some retro throwbacks. I don't know what the top end speed is. The new Mustang GT has some 300 hp; My Mustang has 310hp and can top 150mph. Not bad for under $30k.

They have another versin coming out next year for $40k that will destroy Vettes costing twice a much.
