Tips for better CTR with Adsense Thread
|
good idea,
next tip filter asian traffic using a script that I don't know of next |
1. Place inline adsense ads in an article.
2. Adsense must be above the fold. 3. Either blend the ads with the background and or choose a color that screams (e.g. red background with yellow text). 4. Use the same font as the Adsense ads (Arial, Verdana) and use the same color link too. 5. Use channels to track which ads your surfers are clicking. 6. Use filters to filter out "junk" ads (eBay and other penny bidders) that are unrelated to your main content. 7. Bring attention to your ads by placing an image or icon next to the banner ad. 8. NEVER click on your own ads. |
Nice!!
any more? |
Use real and useful content. In fact, let webmasterlabor.com research and write tons of mainstream content for you for bulk rates :)
RSS in relevant articles/blog entries/newsfeeds |
Haven't seen a gfy thread where webmasters contribute without changing the topic yet. Great going guys.
Another one Use overture's bid check tool to find the highest paid keywords to aim for. For example, if computers makes 10 cents more per click than computer then use computers more in your site. "Your number 1 source for computers" instead of "For all your computer needs" bad example. But better used with thesaurus words or abreviations. |
great info, thanks!
