Premium Domain Idiots
Why are there so many idiots with premium domains?
Often when I want to start a new project I will prepare a wishlist of domains and then approach the owners to buy their domain. I often approach those with domains not in use, or going to some completely stupid page. Assuming they either have no use for it, or dont know its true value. 50%+ dont reply, doesnt matter how enticing the email is, it seems like without fail the rest are broken down like this. a) attached to the domain as if it were their first born child, they have a grand plan for it but have never got it off the ground. b) convinced the domain is worth at least 10-100X more than they would ever realistically get for it. c) happy to reply to your emails but never willing to discuss price or actual sale, just want to waste your time. I have to restrain myself from educating them on how stupid they are for not making better use of their domain. I dont know, maybe I just have really bad luck and I'm approaching more than my fair share of morons. Its been a long time since I scored a reasonable seller. If you do have some premium domains in the 3-30k range shoot me an email with your asking price. |
I'll sell ya sex.com for $15k
LOL |
It's their right to ask 10x what you expect to pay for it. If they haven't sold it by now they realize that most people won't pay that much for it, they are just sitting on it like a piece of property. While their asking price hasn't ben reached yet I'm pretty sure they notice the offers get bigger every year.

I own gr8pictures.info, 3K $ and it`s yours :thumbsup

These are morons sitting on $10-$20k domains who want $500-750k.
If you want to compare it to property even at 10X, how many idiots own a 300k house and expect to sell it for 3mil? These morons have their "500k+" domain either not in use or going to some bullshit page with no ads. If you owned a 500k commercial property would you leave it vacant for years and years or would you collect rent on it? These people just frustrate me, we want to buy premium domains but its an uphill battle dealing with morons who wont even discuss things realistically. |
I have the same problems when looking for domains. It a tough market these days

well maybe they plan to sell it with maximum profit and income later or have plans for the domains they own... anyways it might be a good idea to search domains that are published on domain sale sites.. :)

Are typo domains worth anything these days?
