I will not drink alcohol for the next month, nor eat for one week.
As I think it's time to start getting healthier, I have already changed my eating habits to drop most junk and add in more fruits, vegetables and fish.
Now I will add to that a bit :) 1) I will not drink any alcohol for one month. Nothing, not even a beer. 2) I will not eat for one week, but only drink water, juices and tea. This isn't to drop lots of weight quickly, though it probably will do some. This is an AWESOME way to detoxify the body from years of drinking and eating badly. I know I can do it easily, because I have a very strong will. As well, I've done it before (for different reasons). I took a bet once to not eat, not drink alcohol, not have sex and not masturbate for one solid week. Trust me, in that week, the food was the last thing on my mind :1orglaugh So now, who's with me ?? Come on, it's healthy and everyone should do it one week per year anyways :winkwink: |

I'm into that type of stuff as well. Give me a week to get the top that's broken on my juicer replaced and I'll do the week of juice/tea/water fasting.
The alcohol break, I'll start the 30day mark at the end of this month as there is an event I have to attend where passing up the wine is almost impossible ;) I'm actually even considering doing a raw food diet for longer than a week or two to detox a little more. Not sure if I could hang that long though, a week of juicing is as long as I've made it before. |
Good plan!, but i wouldn´t go one straight week just drinking fluids... better do that once a week religiously and then carry on a balanced diet.

As for how it can be healthy, you can do your own research. What it does is forces the body to start cleansing itself; which IS healthy. What wouldn't be healthy is people who do it for fast weight loss only, then go back to eating tons of junk, then back to fasting, and so on :2 cents: |
