Theres no mystery to this really, and being a music buff I am somewhat disappointed that you haven't seen the connection.

I've never met a male named Aubrey, but have met quite a few girls with the name.

Damn! I don't know how I missed that one. At first I thought you wrote Audrey and so I instantly thought of Audrey Hepburn. The bread jar also through me for a loop.

Okay, true confessions. Although I was a heavy metal headbanger, I was also a closet Bread fan. Thank goodness they did the song "Mother Freedom" which had a hard rock riff in it, so my bandmates didn't think I had totally lost it.

David Gates really knew how to write beautiful ballads. I can play most of the Best of Bread album.

Bread really should have been a more household name type band than they were.

Bread had 15 Top 40 songs during a short career.

They were especially memorable to me, because their music came out while I was coming of age in Hawaii. Lots of close dancing to Bread tunes with the local wahines...
