Yeah i remember that, apparently she didnt even die from the impact, she died when he fell into her fists first into her rip cage crushing it.

yea, it's fucked up - that's a pretty intense scene and I can't locate one single story on this - and I tried several different searches

that is Gabriela Szabo that gets run over by long jumper

Happened at the 2001 Stuttgart indoor Grand Prix, just after Szabo had won the mile. The long-jumper is Kofi Amoah-Prah from Germany. Szabo and Amoah-Prah were back competing within a week, so obviously there was no lasting damage to either of them.
