Adwords... not showing up

How long does this shit take to become active? I started my campaign over 30 hours ago, it says Active... but not clicks, and my ad is not showing under my keywords.
thanks.

Should have shown up already. Do you have a new account?

I will say that if you are promoting the same site as someone else they won't show 2 ads for the same site. They will only show one.

Yes, account is new. If I were showing the same site, wouldn't they at least notify me about it?
I emailed them last night.. but nothing yet.

No they wouldn't. Just check the ads for the keywords you are using and you'll know.

Being it's a new account may be the problem.

Good luck with that. Maybe you'll get something by tomorrow or later.

mine was doing the same thing until I emailed them.... traffic started flowing within an hour of emailing them

Draychi 06-27-2005 06:07 PM

well, I might try different key words.. I had one key word where someone has the same site listed. We'll see what happens. If i don't get an email, or traffic by tomorrow, i'll call.
Thanks.

it takes awhile for it to show up.

1. If it's a new account you may have to wait on a "review" before your keywords get approved and go live.

2. They have a rule now that a single domian can only show up once. So if you're trying to just list your affiliate link code, then the person paying the most with the best ctr will rank.

I think it's the 'review' because I am paying the most per click :thumbsup

Yes but you don't have anyCTR. Google will however put your ad up very now an again then at a certain point the one that makes Google the most cash will get seen most.

And yes the review process is what is most likely holding you up. After this any new campaigns should appear within 15 minutes.

Just a tip, if you are going to change an ad do not do in on the week-ends. You may get flagged for a review and unless they've changed Google doesn't do reviews on the week-ends so your ads that you changed will be paused until Monday

if it is an adult site, they review them first typically before putting them up...
