Recommend a Movie

Here's mine:

"The Stoned Age"

For those of you who like silly "quotable" comedies, this movie is a classic.

Worth the rental price for the guy in the "no fat chicks" sweatshirt alone.

What are some flicks not everyone has seen that you love?

evildick 06-27-2005 05:10 PM

"The Dentist" series of cheesy horror movies starring Corben Bernsen. Really funny stuff. Corben should always be typecast as an insane person since he was so good in these movies.

Also the "Return of the Living Dead" horror/comedy movies that came out in the 80's. (except for part 3)

These 2 guys were great.

1 and 2 were awesome....but 3? That movie was about as good as a bag or roasted assholes.

Might as well throw House Party 3 in there too :(

Cidade de Deus (City of gods)
Excellent Film...if you rent the DVD be sure to watch the documentary that comes with it.
And you have to watch Lock, stock and two smoking barrels if you haven`t seen it.

I love movies so I kind of ran out of movies to watch and started watching weird old movies and foriegn films. I liked Run Lola Run, Memento, Fight Club, the Ring, Scorpion Female Prisoner 701 (the old version), Maria Full of Grace, Lemony Sniket, Nurse Betty, Mean Girls, Chicago, A Boy and his Dog (Don Johnson was hot who knew), 2LDK, Ju-UN was really scary (the original version of the grudge totally sucked though). I thought The Seed of Chucky was hillarious. Ive seen like every movie if anyone ever needs to know if somethings good or not. I do have a life..I almost forgot The Girl Next Door, Alfie, and Assault on Precinct 13

Desperado
Napoleon Dynamite
Lord of The Rings

Lost in Translation

...to name a few

BoatTrip is a cheesy movie about two straight friends that accidentially get on a gay cruise.

It's a stupid movie, it only got one and a half stars, but it was funny as hell.

:thumbsup

Goonies

same director, I know, but awesome flicks.

evildick 06-27-2005 08:44 PM

I thought these were supposed to be movies most people haven't seen. I sure wouldn't have recommended my previous choices if that wasn't part of the criteria. LOL.
