These stats good, average or below?

mostly tgp traffic

total hits 660594

3948 signups @ $25
conversion ratio 1:167

Janet Reno 06-27-2005 04:01 PM

date range?

Mako 06-27-2005 04:04 PM

Who cares about the date range? The hits sample size is large enough that date range doesn't matter Professor.

I average considerably higher on ratios compared to 1:167, you're doing great if that's mostly TGP based PureMeds. Nice job. :)

reynold 06-27-2005 05:39 PM

I think the ratio is high enough...

IF the ratio is not join page hits or second page hits, the ratio is pretty good. Why is it ''high'' ?

Show me yours, at that many signups & tgp traffic.

BobG 06-27-2005 05:42 PM

I like those ratios.... send me your ref link. 153-834-939

Dirty F 06-27-2005 05:42 PM

I think ratio means shit. I mean in this case for example.

Its about marketing.

1 person can send 50k 404 traffic a day and do 1:1000 and another person sends 100 google hits and does 1:25.

Ratios are for noobs who get blinded by numbers.

Also noobs will compare this with adult sites. They think my tgp traffic does 1:1000 so this must be real good. Ofcourse forgetting meds banners/links get way less clicks than the average adult site.

See what i mean?

Totally clueless.

Dirty F 06-27-2005 05:44 PM

I can super duper ultra filter my traffic and get 1:10 ratios. Knowing i just lost 50k on the way their. Then post a screenshot on gfy and claim i do 1:10 ofcourse not saying how.

I bet my icq will go crazy.

All depends.

Are these hits to FHGs and then clicks on to the site.

Or text links and banners on a page.

tranza 06-27-2005 06:45 PM

Lol... I love GFY...

beta-tester 06-27-2005 06:50 PM

It's great man. Ratio is not so important in this case. Sales are the most important :thumbsup
You made almost 100K$ which is pretty pretty good!!

Machete_ 06-27-2005 07:08 PM

whats best
1) - 100 signups @ 25 that retain for 8 months (20k)
or
2) - 800 signups @ 25 that only stay one month = (20k)

????

Answer would be; "nothing"
(but number one would make you feel better if you care about your work and the surfers)
And why?.. Because all that matter is how much profit you get - end of story

Porno Pushers will do 1-10 on first page hits. LOL well at least I hope so we will find out soon enough :winkwink:

But I do agree programs fudge numbers to look good to webmasters.
Best bet is to test everyone and see who makes you the most per day or week depending on traffic volume. :2 cents:

adonthenet 06-27-2005 07:18 PM

Yup...but then again, you are a sigwhore and not a webmaster.

shermo 06-27-2005 07:23 PM

If you have to ask our opinions, then they aren't good enough!

You failed to mention whether or not these were 1st page hits, join page hits, filtered traffic, etc.
