I used to own XXXYahoo.com way long time ago, 1996; it took them 3.5 years to send me a polite email :error saying hand it over. I guess now a days they are probably not so nice. :Oh crap

the word yahoo existed looong before the company came along. So why can't someone own a domain with that word in it.
How about if someone trademarks the word sex... won't anybody be able to have "sex" in their domain names? Or the word "the"?
