Hosted galleries - what's your experience
 

Ok, I understand that there are basically two possibilities with hosted galleries. Some sites say, 'we can't give away our best content for free' and are only offering teasers, others are are having really good stuff in their hosted galleries. For me the second option definitively works better as people are getting a good idea of what they can expect in the member area. Not too many people are going to part with 30 bucks on the promise of "hot stuff inside". You have to let the fox see the rabbit if you want to sell.
Let's say I use a DieselAction gallery together with one from Teen Revenue and one from Lightspeed. I give you a guarantee that the DieselAction one outsells the one from TeenRevenue by 3:1, and the Lightspeed one by 6:1. Especially the Lightspeed galleries are really tame, if not to say lame/boring.

you can check out different sponsors so you can have some options..cause most of the time free content from sponsors are not very good.
