pulled muscle in shoulder
 

i pulled a muscle in my shoulder playing b-ball 2 weeks ago. i still have alot of pain in it. does anyone know how long it usually takes for a pulled muscle to heal? should i see a doctor or wait it out a few more weeks and see whats happens?

Probably about 6 to 8 weeks..I pulled mine and it was murder

but, I would recommend that you go to see a chiropractor or osteopath (if you are so lucky to find one in your area) -- they can help your body heal itself more than a general doctor.

If it's just a simple muscle pain--just take a rest and it will gain it's strength soon.

Well..it was so painful,I couldn't lift my arm..I had to do about 5 weeks of therapy which helped allot

You'd better hope you did not tear your rotater cuff-- I did that about 7-8 years ago and my shoulder has never, ever been the same.
