Ingrown Hairs
 

They turn into big red pimples and leave scars after the pimple is "gone"... can't squeeze them or the area will become inflamed, and if a girl was to see the one on my right love handle, she would probably not want to see me again. LOL!

SUCKS ASS!!!!!!!!! I get a lot of small ones on my arms too (i pluck them out and apply alcohol to them).

I haven't had them this bad since I was 13.

ingrown hairs are a pain in the ass!! you get lots if you wax.

i do not shave or wax my arms or legs... i get them mostly on my arms, but once in awhile 1 will show up on a love handle or near my cockerspaniel where the bush grows wild.

Which is why if you get a loofah and exfoliate your body every time you shower you won't get any.

Try a product called tend skin, it dries the area out and the hair will pop out. Works great!! Just don't use too much on the area or it will get too dry and start peeling.

i rip my skin open with tweezers and pull them out. It doesn't hurt and heals fast.

the pimple area still exists though... after the area has been irritated. more of a blemish, usually larger than a regular sized pimple.

Yes, Tend Skin is the best. Clears them up and helps to stop them from growing. Also, Primacy from Skinceuticals will clear up bad ones in a day or two. Using single blade or double blade disposible is better than non-disposible. They don't shave as close and really help reduce the chances of ingrowns.

After you shave or wax, scrub the area with a lufa or sponge of some type. My wife does, and it works great.

I heard that a heated bottle would take it out by cooling it down on the spot by succion.

Never tried it.

seems like that might work, I thought I remember then using that method for something else too... but cant remember

just exfoliate every time you wash. Loofa or something

Exactly Jayde, great advice. Exfoliation is KEY. I have super duper sensitive skin. Started soaking in the tub a little longer and loofah-ing, they stopped completely. :)

I get them a lot.. I usually just pop them with a tweezer and pull out the hair.
