How to gain 2 PR in 1 day

Take down a pet project you have regularly updated and stick a notice up that it is being overhauled and will be back shortly. Go figure :arcadefre

that worked? what was the originaly PR. and maybe you had alot of very low outgoing links to your original site

Google dumped it into the abyss months ago it hadn't had a PR since then.
I decided to remodel the page since it used a number of dropdown menus I had been wanting to get rid of. I pulled the page down yesterday, stuck up that notice and today, PR 2 :upsidedow

yeah, google doesn't even use the PR displayed in the toolbar... those results are all months old.
