Now im itching for the 4th to come along so i can blow shit up, just hopefully we dont blow ourselves up. Bar-B-Q, Beer and BOMBS thats what the 4th is all about.

There is a fireworks place right on the border of NJ/Penn in Pennsylvania. We hit Bushkill Falls for some hicking and then on the way back bought these. That cost me about $400

Someone told me a while back that you need a PA id or be a PA resident,,,is that true?

Opposite, PA residents can't buy without a permit, nj residents (or ny) only need a photo d/l to purchase

I was brain washed by working at a fireworks company for so many years (seasonal)

I'll tell you some good ones to buy that dont cost a bunch , but pack a hell of a whallop..

I think they are called hummeroos or screecheroos Its shaped like a 6 inch firecracker and when you light it it goes screeeeech and one little pop. The trick is get a whole shitload of them and pound them down with a hammer then wrap them in duct tape, awesome shit.. Some variations you can do is, dip them in glue after they have been pounded down , then roll them in bb's or small pebbles, fill a 2 litre bottle of coke with gasoline and insert the screechers in the bottle ( you only need 1 or 2 )

btw its well worth your while if you have spent over $100 on fireworks to go to a hobby store and buy one of those cheap kids rockets with the electronic ignition. Might just save your hand one day..

If your into dangerous stuff, empty out the powder from screechers and then chop the top off a C02 cartridge from an airgun, fill it with the powder dip it in glue and bb's , and attach it to the base of a tree..

It creates a more uniform spread to the gasoline making it look like a large star when it explodes..

When its placed in the C02 cartridge it creates a better blast pattern

For electronic cheap igniters go to a hobby store and ask for the electric igniter for hobby rockets.. They are dirt cheap. then go get some 9volt batteries and lengths of wire. you attach the wire to the igniters and shove the igniters into the wick of the firework you want to light trail the wire away and stick on the 9 volt battey and boom.

Nice assortments. 2 of my neighboors including myself have a nice batch this year.

I have been hit with buckshot from my bombs a few times, but from far away.

Infact funny story, the same night i got hit with buckshot from a little bomb i made i was shot with a .22 calibre handgun from about 50 ft away right in the center of my back. I was wearing a leather jacket with a leather patch on the back, and the bullet went through my jacket and bounced of my spine leaving a large welt in my back , but it didnt even break the skin. The buckshot from the bomb went into my calf and ankle breaking the skin.

Don't buy fireworks in PA.. all they sell are glorified sparklers.

You have to go to ohio if you want the good stuff. Pumpkin balls, roman candles, etc. You aren't going to buy those in PA.

Thats why you think, i got some big stuff in PA. If your from PA you cant buy them but if your from outside PA you can buy whatever you want. The guy even told me where to go buy class b fireworks in PA.
