went deepsea fishing today....
 

went off the coast of puerto vallarta. caught this 105 inch beaut' of a sailfish :)

didnt weight it in buy the guy at the dock said it was probably 110-120 pounds.

most sportsman release them

why would anyone wanna kill something thats almost an endagangered species these days is beyond me

just make sure you have it mounted, don't take this marvel of the sea & throw it in a mexican dumpster

you know they only have like 2 videos in the world of sailfish mating in the world......i mean these things are pretty much impossible to catch

but if i find a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow, i'm not gonna shoot him & hang em on the wall

sailfish are not hard to catch, hundreds maybe thousands are caught every day

most are released


they are fun to catch, i've caught a few, but i like to catch fish i can put in the freezer

thats interesting, i was watching a show in the history channel or nature channel i forget....but they were trying to breed sailfish in captivity & it was pretty much impossible...and they are "commercially" fished out from what it said....& not easy to catch

maybe i went a bit overboard with the endangered species thing, but you've got to admit catching one is only something a real hardcore fisherman or guide could setup...
