Strange Message From Industry Friend
 

Not gonna name names,
He's a great guy, very talented and was growing concerned that his site hadn't been updated in ages and that he wasn't responding on ICQ etc.

I honestly thought maybe he was dead or seriously ill.

Well I finally recieved a message from him today that he's out of porn for good and it was nice knowing me.

I can only assume that means he's not only turning his back on the industry, but those he knew in this biz as well, and this is a guy who was pretty well connected.

I wish nothing but the best for him. But find it rather silly that just because you decide to no longer work in a biz that you would stop all contact with people you knew in that biz.

This is not like the corporate world where if you leave a company and go work for another you create a new group of friends...this is an online environment where your group of friends / coworkers / clients / peers / etc are just a message away on ICQ, or email.

If I were to leave this biz tomorrow those I stay in contact with on my icq list would remain on my icq list. Not only are some friends, but the combined knowledge of them all would serve me well regardless of what industry I am in.

Just thought it was strange.

Sounds like he found god. My ex up and left me and stoped taking to all her friends for no reason. She said God told her that she can do better. We all have seen her around but she just acts like she never even new any of us. Very strange.

I don't think he's being intentionally rude. Just strange is all.

I didn't want to make that assumption, but I almost got the same kind of feeling from him.

I messaged him back and he is online and he's not responding...LOL.

Or maybe he could be working in a company that if they ever knew about his adult ties he would lose a great job.
