Leftover cold pizza for breakfast......
love it love it love it Today's is bacon & shrimp, extra cheese, hot & spicey sauce, thin crust. mmm.... :D |
i've never heard of bacon and shrimp pizza where in the hell did you get that from? sounds like it could be good though :)
|
I could never wrap myself around cold pizza; but, shrimp and bacon sounds good.
|
Well, I like bacon, and I like shrimp. :D
Seriously, pizza shops here have like 2 dozen or more toppings available. You can choose any number in any combination you want. Got a craving for red peppers and capers? They'll make it for you. Want 5 kinds of meat toppings + green & black olives? They'll set you up. |
just had a pizza for dinner:)

There's a place near me called "Chicago Phil's", they have a huge deep-dish pie with their famous "chicago-thick" crust, and you can choose any SIX toppings for it. You need not choose extra cheese though, because it comes with 3 types of cheese already on it. I usually choose Italian sausage, spiced ground beef, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. It's only twenty bucks, but what a pie. It weighs like four pounds or more. :D |

The place I ordered from uses the big sized shrimps. Not the really HUGE ones mind you, but not the tiny little cocktail shrimps like most pizza shops use. They're nice and big. The bacon is nice lean side-bacon, the crust is crisp and tasty.... and that sauce. mmmm...... you can order the regular, the garlic, or the hot & spicey. I chose the latter... because shrimps go nice with the hot sauce. You know... I just MIGHT order more this afternoon and have it again. Oh, and my order came with a big ceasar salad, six fat chicken fingers (breaded), some homemade honey-dill dipping sauce, and a couple of cans of pepsi. All for $23 bucks. ... and the shop is only 45 seconds away by car..... delivery to me is faaast. |
sounds good to me :):)
|
I never seen a single pizza place arround here where you can't choose what you put on your own pizza.

I have a thin crust meat lovers pizza in my refrigerator. I usually heat it back up before I eat it though.
|
I haven't had pizza in ages.
|
Bacon and shrimp. Damn that sounds good. Never tried it, but hey, sounds good. I like bacon and pineapple, so that's probably not a stretch for me.
Want some corn pops? |
With so many locally owned pizza joints here in Winnipeg, I would no more order from pizza hut or dominoes than fly to the moon. Not one of those big national chains can compare to the likes of...
Santa Lucia --- a bit more expensive than most, but worth it. Classic Italian pizza, heavy on the toppings, heavy on the cheese, their own custom sauce and crust.... when you want the cadillac of pizzas and have the bucks to throw at it, this is the one to go with. Pasquali's --- traditional style, you can taste the italian spices and flavor from the old country in this one. Best seafood pizza I have ever tasted anywhere, period. Garbonzo's --- So far above domino's I'm surprised it's legal for them to be on the same planet. I could go on and on.... Sorrento's, Chicago Phil's, Papa George's, Gondola pizza... and a dozen others. I've had friends from Europe, the UK, and Scotland come to Winnipeg for a visit over the years and all have marveled at the incredible pizza we have here. Good thing I'm a pizza lover. |
get to treat myself in a descent pizza store, with extra bell pepper and mushroom
:smokin |
thread is making me hungry

There is a little place in Northern Minnesota, just a ways out of town from International Falls, called "The 19th Hole"...... they have what's called "the country club special".... it is the most incredible pizza I've ever eaten, bar none. Five different toppings, their own special thin crust, their own sauce.... it's something I only get to enjoy maybe once ever 5 years or so... but it's so worth it. If they charged $300 to deliver it to me, I would order a dozen. But sadly, they don't deliver this far. :( |
pizza with shrimp? the best pizza for breakfast would be anything that's pan crust from pizza hut, microwaved.
