It sounds like that's possibly be the case. The car was parked next to the house they were last seen at. It must belong to one of the fathers because he is the one who opened it and found them.

I heard they were playing a game..a real tradgedy..shown a news clip of the father of one opening the trunk to discover his son :(

Man that is really sad. But the government finds it better to chase us, and spend billions doing it, than stopping crimes like that. Weather someone killed them, or they just vanished. Imagine what tools could be developed and used to find missing kids with the some money that is trying to put you in jail.

the question in this case is why the fuck wouldn't the police have checked all vehicles of the parents - you know they already as a precaution went through the partents home(s) - so the autos should have also been on the immediate check list
