lol - old thread. nobody outbid me so I bought it. It's actually pretty fun. Went to Sam's Club and shut off some TV's. I wonder how quick I'd get my ass kicked if I went to a sports bar on superbowl sunday with it :1orglaugh

Does it work as well as they say?

I'd say yes. On average it takes about 4 seconds to find the code. It's found the code on about 85-90% of the televisions I've tried it on. On the majority of the TVs, however, only the mute button works, not the channels or volume. But some of the bigger name brand ones it works fine. I use it on my home TV's. It's kind of cool just having a small ass remote lol.
