Ok I have had enough of all the negative threads about 2257. Something makes me think that without exception all you babies crying about only FSC members being covered are probably......

A. Surfers who wanna be webmasters
B. Surfers who had a long day at McDonalds

Jeesh instead of crying why don't you GET TO WORK RIGHT NOW...make the $100 and just join? Why spend hours and hours fighting and bitching about something that you are POWERLESS to change? If you do not have the means to make $100 by saturday then round up some shit and go to the pawn shop. you would do that if you had no money for beer. this is more important.

This shit is BRINGING the industry together like nothing ever has before, yet you surfers continue to cry like little babies. Hell I have even put my battle with Gary K on hold because of this, the guy even gave out Kudos to me today and we despise each other. choker, while i agree with your sentiment, the fact that they seem to be operating on some paper-pushing level down there in socal leaves too much margin of error. it just seems theres a huge chance that people who apply today forward are not going to get on the 'magic list' due to the FSC not having the manpower to process the apps.

I don't have a problem making a donation to help fund the cause, but I do not want to be on "the list" that everyone seems so frantic to get on.

Truth is it will be a hit list for DOJ. Say what you will, some of us can afford the fight and some can't. I am not sure that FSC has what it takes to make the fight??? Not a popular statement. I just got off the phone with Tom Hymes who is FSC's Communications Director.

He's sitting in the airpor in Denver waiting for his flight back right now and told me that as long as the application has been faxed with membership dues or your call goes into the call center BEFORE Saturday at 2pm and YOU have a RECORD of such communication REGARDLESS you will make it on time.

Hey Choker, I have a question for you. Seems others are asking the same question also. I have a S-corp for my business. I was wondering if I donate how much do they expect me to pay? I mean is it $100, $300? $300 per site/domain or what? If I go buy that income chart, that is alot less then paying $300 per site/domain. If you could help me out with which way to go I would really appreciate it.

Dude, something sealed by the court can only be unsealed by the court. Imagine the DOJ asking for this list to be unsealed after the judge ordered it sealed. The reason for all this is so the DOJ cannot do what you are saying they will. I doubt this judge would unseal this list so the DOJ can take revenge on the sites that supported this injunction. That would be a legal minefield. If this still does not make sense to you then I give up on you. LOL

I'm not an attorney, so all this is a lay opinon. I think there is a very good chance that the court could unseal the records. An injucntions begs a hearing. Someone will have to testify. Guess, they'll all be John Doe's. I find nothing funny about it.
