I want a tattoo but not to sure what. It will be my first. I was thinking to get it on my upper arm/sholder.

I want a trible kind of tattoo, only black with no colour.

any ideas? any pics?

in my opinion you should never get a tattoo unless it actually means something... and never get a predesigned tattoo that a bunch of people have... have an artist do up a custom drawing for you.. give it some thought, its going to be on your body forever

I have 3 tattoos all mean something to me.. I started small just to make sure I could handle the pain and that I would like it. But I agree it should be something meaning full.

Tattoos used to be a cool thing to have. Now everyone has got them and have lost their allure. It's like people are now doing it just because everyone else is.

Tattoos are so fucking stupid unless there is some very serious meaning to it. If you get a fad tattoo such as a tribal design, you'll regret it in 5 years.

Just about everyone I know who has a tattoo either wants it taken off now or would like something else in it's place. Either that or they are unhappy with the location of it now.

And what's with these idiots who get them in places that can't be covered up? That's an invitation to get loser jobs the rest of your life.

That depends on the type of job really. Before I got into porn I was a chef. And being the long haired tattoo'd freak that I am actually brought me more customers because I was more "hip" than other chefs, so my food must be better!~LOL

As far as regrets......... ALL my work is actually part of one peice/concept.
IF the time ever comes that it don't have meaning to me, then it's there to remind me who I really am. One thing in life I don't do is regrets, and I'm no kid

well, i got one (and i just have one) on my right arm, and i wasn't sure what to get, i wanted a tribal one, but couldn't decide, yet i wanted something original, so i checked for long those tattoos books but couldn't find anything that i really liked until i saw that this tat shop had some custom made tattoos and then i picked one, was an exclusive design handmade by the tat owner, at least he said that nobody has it hehe.....if i were you i would look and try to find something unique that nobody else has.

Don't do the stock flash on the wall. Don't do tribal. While both can be fine I'd suggest that you use something unique about you that reflects your heritage or something else about you that will never change.
