I wonder how and why this stereotype was created. Every fucking family sitcom has some sexpot granny that they pretend is good looking and sexually active. Not only is it gross but it is totally unrealistic. Then you have the fat chick that on the show is always talking about sex and supposedly getting some from good looking men. I can understand artistic license but who actually wants to think of old or fat people fucking?

It is patently not true to suggest on TV sitcoms that it is somehow sexy to think of fat people or old people having sex. Sitcoms would have you believe that the family loves to hear granny talk about her next conquest. Sitcoms will even show young men lusting after granny while the audience cheers as if they understand that lust. Sitcoms will tell you celebrate fat people having sex and have laugh tracks force whistles from a crowd. Obesity is disgusting and fat people are nasty. Old people are not sexual dynamos on the whole. They need a bottle of viagra for a 2 minute fuck session before their hip pops out of place. No one in their right mind wants to think of those people naked.

It is just strange that sitcoms try and force this on the public it is also why you see a definite downtrend in people that watch sitcoms. People would rather watch hot actors on "reality" TV than watch the overdone formulas and character archetypes that sitcoms foist upon us.
