APC 2257 notice
 

After countless meeting with our legal counsel and based on our beliefs Adult Players Club will not be providing ID's or documentation to our webmasters. We feel that models are the key to our business and to this industry and should not be treated any different than you or I. We feel that this law is a terrible violation of their privacy and we are not willing to put them at risk and we are willing to take a stand to prevent it.

Banners and Ads - We request that you cease to use any banners that depict hardcore acts (as defined by 2257). We have been working hard to provide all softcore banners for webmasters to promote. All hardcore banners will be taken out of the admin. There will be new banners added on a daily basis as they are completed.

Free Hosted Galleries - Feel free to use all the hosted galleries that you want. We did have to remove a few of the galleries but after today all galleries that are in the admin are free to use and highly suggested. There will also be tons of new galleries added for our webmasters to use.

New Free Host - We will be providing a free host for all our webmasters to use. To learn more about the free host check out freehostapc.com tommorrow June 23.

Free Content - The free content section will still be open for use but only for galleries that you are going to put on our free host.

Current webmasters that we provide free hosting - If you would like to you can transfer us ownership of your domain and keep going along business as usual. Also for webmasters that use domains strictly for Adult Players Club and want to transfer us owndership of their domain so that they can continue business as normal, we are open for that. We will provide a contract so that you can ask for your domain back at any time.

Site closing - Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we will have to shut down Asian Sex Trip. We have worked till the final hour to prevent this but have been left without a choice. All traffic being sent to this site will be redirected to All Access Reality. Our four movie sites (non exclusive DVDs) will also be shutting down. These sites will also redirect to All Access Reality.

For foreign webmasters we will not be providing ID's but if you feel that you are exempt from 2257 feel free to continue business as usual. I am not here to provide legal advice so this is totally up to your judgement.

Why would you care if they have a 2257 link on their FHGs or not? This has no legal repercussion to any affiliate whatsoever.

APC are good people and know what they're doing. And it's nice to see a major player take such a radical and contrary stance.
From what I can tell this is the first US sponsor to not burden EU webmasters with the idiocy of some hypocritical American legislation.
