What is it with these fucking bands nowadays
where the song is jsut screaming (ie alexisonfire, system of a down)
byob kicks ass but the screaming ruins it

Killswitch and Trivium are probably the best metalcore bands out there at the moment.. can't beat old Metallica and Pantera though. I miss them :( [Yes I know Metallica are still around but their new stuff sucked penis]

Actually I really like their screaming. It isn't the same as many metal bands where ALL they do is scream incoherently.

System is another terrible nu-metal band and the actual problem is not the "screaming", but the stupid slow/fast rhythm with ballad singing that all the metal bands are doing now. How bout a whole fuckin song that rips, not just the fast parts? Is that so hard?

The screaming is the genious part. Thats what makes the melodic parts sound so great. Its psychology at its best!! And if the screaming wasnt there, it would stick out from all the other crap released into the music marked these days
