Perhaps because you don't know how its done.

No - I have people that have said those very words to me - "I know seo but I'm not having any success with rankings"

These people just need to be guided in the right direction and also I skip the SEO basics with them. They are happy now :)

We have hired jojojo, and have started using his services as of a two weeeks ago. He came to our office since we are local and he went over eveything with us in person as I also am wary of search engine guru's claims. I have been in the bizz since 1999 and am not an expert on seo but know when someone knows what they are doing. The actions you must take make total sense and jojojo overseas each step before you move forward. Obviously we do not have results yet but he is the real deal if you are not sure.
