It's pretty tough to do unless it's your main focus. you have to deal with lots of different devices, billing is different in various countries etc...

Yes, but not via premium SMS. The phone companies won't let you charge for hardcore in the US (yet). We can let you bill via credit card, and then deliver it using a normal SMS message.

Same with Australia I believe, although it sounds like they may have outlawed mobile porn as a whole. (being there, is that true?)

You want to offer it to the users, not to the mobile phones ;)

If you want to do that without additional mobile phone solutions forget it, nobody is going to download pics to their PC to transfer it via data cable onto their cell phone.

If you want to use your own content with an additional mobile phone solution it's only worth it if you have lots of european traffic / members and are willing to wait a while till you get your money.

I was under the understanding that it was illegal to send content of that nature over the US networks, regardless of billing method...

Nope, although I think thats the way it is in Australia now.
