this one time i was walking in the mall and passed a guy who had long hair... chances are he liked metal/rock....

so basically that makes me one of the pioneers and fathers of rock.

if you mean being around celebs...it was last year when I was at the wrap party for the Linkin Park Meteora tour and while I was all fucked up me and Chester got into a slap fight

but if you mean a rock-n-rol moment as in no celebrity required...my friends and I got a hotel room about 5 years ago, there was about 10 of us...we had one gallon of GHB, 200 pills of ecstasy and about 2 ounces of cocaine...and we sat in that hotel room for 4 days with strippers and every one of us naked for the whole time...the girls were doing lines off dicks and the guys were doing lines off pussies....my partner at the time had like $10k in $20's on him, so we laid it all on the bed and all rolled around naked on it

I was standing on the stage when Rammstein played at the Roskilde Festival.. I had helped set some computer equipment up and that was how they thanked me ;-)

I was being crushed into the wall, right off to the one side of the stage, at a Slayer concert in Philly, years ago. It was the loudest concert I have ever witnessed.

I remember noticing how soft the wall was that I was being pushed into, because of the violent moshpit that was migrating in my general direction. I remember having my hands on the soft wall and seeing the word 'Marshall' on it, meer inches from my face.

I was underground for most of my life - but lately two very rock and roll things happened to me:

1) I wrote and played guitar on a Linkin Park song (it's on the LP Underground 4.0 CD, the 3rd song)

2) In August I'm going to be playing the headlining spot on the second stage of a 3 day, 6 stage festival at the Trenton Fucking Soverign Bank Arena!!!

I just keep getting more rock n roll the older i get!

Zoinks! reunited for a one-shot show last week after not playing for about a decade together. That was pretty surreal. We ended the night smoking weed with Zack and the band and reminiscing of the good ol days.

i can't decide... is name-dropping an integral part of rocknroll? my most rocknroll moment has nothing to do with a single famous person - i guess i missed a meeting *LOL*

we played two shows on catalina island. the other band and we were threatened with being arrested for foul language (who - me?) and excessive volume, mad crazy shit and drugs were everywhere, and i got to see a small audience mostly standing with their lighters lit screaming that i was god.

i know, no big names, but it sure felt rock and roll to us :)

This one time at bandcamp..............

I got drunk and had sex with all the members of Vixen. When I wont up the next morning I found out I had actually been on the receiving end of a train from all the members of Cinderella. Damn those 80s hair styles.... :mad:

i talked to the drummer of Papa Roach for a few minutes back in 2002 when they were on tour with Limp Bizkit. he was short & fat but funny & cool lol :)

Just being in the LA Music Scene and in various bands was full of moments, but as far ones involving known names.....

Tom Petty cut in line in front of me in an Affordable Portables store on Ventura Blvd. This was back in 1995. I was waiting in a line at the counter for about 20 minutes to have a bad pager replaced and right when it was my turn, the guy at the counter just walks away and waits on this blonde haired guy in a denim jacket and his girlfriend who had walked in and were looking at something in the back of the store. Even though he sees people waiting he calls for the clerk to go back and wait on them. I'm standing there thinking "Who is this guy?" Then the counter guy comes back and says, "I'm sorry, it will be a few minutes. That's Tom Petty back there and he kind of takes precedence." The blond haired guy turned around then, and sure enough, it was him or a damn good lookalike.

Other notable moments:

-Lemmy of Motorhead cutting in front of me at a payphone outside the Rainbow on Sunset
-Working at Guitar Center on Sunset in Hollywood for a while and acidentally keeping Neil Schon waiting at the counter for 10 minutes and then not knowing who he was
-Hanging out with a couple of the guys from Tesla at NAMM one year (when I was in the music business)
-One of the bands I sang for was scheduled to open for LA Guns, we sold a ton of tickets based on that; LA Guns cancelled the day of the show and we ended up headlining instead.

Thankfully I am not in the band scene right now. Too much drama.
