    Shelter Pointe never canceled my reservations...

    Today I woke up to an email from Shelter Pointe thanking me for staying with them last week. I didn't stay with them, I canceled my reservations almost 2 weeks ago. I check my credit card statement and sure enough, I was charged. Yippy. Now I have to figure out this crap. And the moron that I am didn't write down the cancellation confirmation number.

    This may very well be my first charge back.

            Call them, they'll say too bad you didn't cancel, ask to speak to manager, bitch to him, he'll say the same, threaten chargeback and they'll refund your money...

                  Call and complain, tell them exactly what went down. If they refuse just say, Look I ended up in wheelchair. (is not a lie really) Should catch them off guard a bit and cause you to get your way. Has worked for me.

                    Damn that sucks Sly.. I remember you saying you canceled also.. I hope you get your money back.. but I will tell you now.. the workers at Shelter Point are not the sharpest tacks in the drawer!
