Real Drama ASACP you are some low fuckers...
Just got a message from my client that you people do not like me bashing on you. My position against .xxx will not be tainted or hushed just because you do not like what I am saying.
My sig is my sig, and what I have to say has nothing to do with Raffi's position in my sig spot. Messaging him and having him contact me saying that I am mis representing AdultLounge is bullshit. You know it and I know it. Don't get it twisted and don't start thinking you can plink away at me and who chooses to have my sig. Adultlounge has supported the FSC's fight against 2257 and have done plenty in this industry. You have no right to herass him about my sig. Get off it. |
wow, they didn't even have the balls to contact you directly?
|
This is real drama?

Raffi messaged me. He is a good guy I would have never thought they would message him to try and get me to shut up. |
Have the FSC file a complaint for you.

Raffi and I did a deal for my sig space but ASACP trying to tell him I am mis representing him is complete BS. Shame on them. |

Interesting . . . all the private messages I am getting are in support of my comments.

Me getting messages with compliments is fucken rare! I thought ASACP was above kid games. This is ridiculous. |
Bah... Is it a drama?..

fuck .xxx and fuck anyone supporting it.... |
Now this is some real drama that deserves to be on the board. Sorry to hear that, and I also dont like the idea of the .xxx
|
I am not agaisnt them making money.
That would be silly. We all like to make a buck. But in the case of ASACP they are fucking with the fundamental element of our industry. Domains. Hell I myself hav said I would support .xxx IF the monies were used to create a lobby for our industry that would preserve it and defend it from hostile law makers. |
You know Mark, I have received a message that makes me think that you have, once again, misunderstood what really happened.
Apparently, ASACP only contacted Raffi to find out if your opinion reflected Adult Lounge's opinion, and if it did, they wanted to hear it from him. You do realize that as a result of my open letter to the advisory council that they are contacting ASACP sponsors to find out if they should retract the statement applauding the .xxx idea. I think they are just doing what they said they were going to do. |
Well...
I would like them to know that I think they should recind there support of .xxx. Without question. Contacting him and asking about me... They can cut the shit. Maybe they could have just asked for his views instead of referr to me... |

Aly - Well gee thats nice of them.
Maybe they should stop waisting fucking time as 90% of the adult webmaster community has spoken about it. There should be no questions about recinding the support of .xxx. No brainer... |
Edited. Saw Aly's post.
|
Opps...
Edited to! Double double. |
Stop being a puppet Joan and do the right thing.

It seems that where the ASACP is concerned, you get conflicting info and how they do their work... I too have had problems with them. I too had them go to one of my sponsors and get me dropped (to be reinstated at a later time) (and Joan and I smoothed things over). Is it just the middlemens perception of the ASACP? Perhaps Raffi and my own sponsor contact misinterpreted Joan's conversation? There are two sides to every story I guess. But I wish this one would get ironed out so that when I hear about the ASACP through a third party I can trust that the third party got it right.

Not a chance. |
Either way. ASACP are FULL OF SHIT!!
Theyc laim to be an asociation derived to help squach CP. Bull. All they do is forward reports, reports that anyone could report themselves to the place ASACP reports to. It's all a money game. Nothing more. I have contacted them a few times about ingenious ways to compat CP and how to protect people from stumbling across CP. The answers? "It's not our position to do such things" citing possible civil matters etc should they make a mistake on labeling a site CP. That's all I ever hear from them. Sorry, but 3 year olds getting fucked by grampa is definately CP... It's all about money, they don't care about finding ways to combat it and protect people from it. I firmly believe we need a new voice in our community against CP. A strong voice, one who isn;t scared to take the necesary steps to combat it. it's our industry, it's up to us to protect our customers and comrads from it. Nobody else sure as hell is doing anything about it. |
I imagine you are correct.. I was giving her the benifit of the doubt.
|
let me get this straight...
ASACP took a stand on an issue, without asking their members? So whose original opinion were they representing? or did I miss something.. |
