Something that might help some of us inputting 2257 info
 

I am having trouble figuring out the words for the various birth months on forgien (especially Eastern European) passports. I figured since I was having trouble with that others might be as well so I googled and found this page which is a list of the words for days of the week and months of the year in just about every language. Now I just need to actually figure out which language some of these passports are in..lol.

my pleasure...though there are still some i am going to have to scrap even though they are unedited ids because I simply can't read their names to type them out in English.

For what it's worth, the 2257 regs do not say our records must be in English.

Oh... you mean you can't read what is on the ID? I misunderstood you.

All of my Thai models (over 300 of them) use the Thai Buddhist calendar. It's 543 years ahead of ours. I'll let the inspectors do the math... :1orglaugh

yeah..I need to input the date of birth in 2257ware and need to be able to read Ukrainian (in this case) in order to tell which month she was born in.

no, but some lawyers say that the way the regs are currently written, US producers (including secondary producers) cannot use content shot with foreign models at all (unless the model has a green card).
