I'm slightly pissed off at sponsors who change their hosted galleries because of 2257 shit. As if that does any good, and why can't you just ADD new galleries that are 2257 compliant. I have like 80k handmade thumbnails and a LOT of descriptions and I have to redo them because, what, you think that'll solve everything if you take hardcore pictures off a week before it's due time?
Myself and other 'foreign' webmasters are easier off if we just take your galleries off instead of changing them, is that your goal? There's plenty that remain unchanged, and more than enough to sustain our thumb-tgp's.

US webmasters will still have to link to you via textlinks if the damn picturesets are a part of an hardcore set. Naturally most if not all american sponsors have US affiliates in mind, but changing the promo banners and galleries does little or no good to anyone.. Why can't you keep those alive and kicking and make NEW stuff for US webmasters?

Now you're doing a lot of unnecessary work that forces me to do unnecessary work, if I want my thumbnails to go to an accurate gallery.

So in conclusion.. LEAVE THEM GODDAMN GALLERIES UNCHANGED.
..and make new galleries if you feel you must do '2257 compliant' galleries.

Why would people change the content on their FHG's to be 2257 compliant instead of just adding the required text link to the bottom of the gallery?

I personally have no idea, and it pisses me off.

i was just thinking the same thing...unless they don't actually have the 2257 info for the galleries, and are changing them completely

I don't want to name names.. but if you're an affiliate and happen to read the mailers they send, some have informed to do this. Big ones too.
