Arcade games at home
I have a buddy that builds these killer arcade machines for home use. Each one plays 39 arcade games from the 1980's

Nice man...I can think of a few games I'd love to be playing.
Every time I go washing I play Galaga |

I gots ta get/make me one of those. I've been wanting one for years now, ever since I came across MAME in the wild. Nothing like blasting your way through wave after wave of galaga baddies while the 80s retro collection is playing for maximum memory enhancement! :thumbsup
|
I've been to a few amusement shows before where dealers sell that sort of thing. A lot more $$$ than I first thought. The replicas are probably the way to go unless you want to pay $2,000 for an original Ms Pac Man tabletop.

those machines look great! :thumbsup
does he ship to the UK?? tony |

I do know that the machine works on 110 volts, so you would need an adaptor or something if your home has 220 volts |
This is the one arcade game i have always wanted to own since it came out !! :thumbsup

I've always wanted to buy an old arcade game for my house (bid on a Gauntlet machine on ebay once or twice).
I've been running Mame and some other emulators on my XBox though lately, so I can't really justify the expense for one now. It's not quite the same experience as playing on an original style cabinet, but it's still pretty cool playing them on an HDTV. A pinball machine would still be cool though. |
I want a sitdown SPY HUNTER.
|
I like the real deal games better than the mame. I have an old Street FIghter, and Championship Sprit game. I wouldn't trade them for Mame.
|
Very cool, I grew up on those games... :thumbsup I would love one of those but the wife want a pin ball machine.
How much does it weigh? Any idea on shipping cost to south Florida? |
