When a sponsor ask's for your SSN
Do they have the right to do so as a company can they refuse to let you use their program with out a SSN?
ofcourse they can
it's the same as applying for a job, ssn needed for bookkeeping records.
They can do anything they want, it's their program...
if you are a US resident, you must provide a SSN or Tax ID # if you want a check

Of course they can. It is the law in the US that you supply a tax id for a job or if you are being paid money. The IRS likes to know where the $$ go.

If I apply for a job I give them my SS#. If I apply to an affiliate program I give them my Tax ID #. That's just how it is. Why wouldn't you want to give out your info?

Here let me try to end this retarded thread. NO they have NO right to ask you for you ssn. There do you feel better? was that the answer you were looking for? jesus fucking christ you have no clue. You ask a SIMPLE question. A question that anyone who has EVER had a job or payed taxes knows the answer to. but you gotta keep asking in hopes you will get the answer your looking for. Well there you have it. You got the answer you wanted. now STFU |
