When a sponsor ask's for your SSN
 

Do they have the right to do so as a company can they refuse to let you use their program with out a SSN?

it's the same as applying for a job, ssn needed for bookkeeping records.

They can do anything they want, it's their program...

if you are a US resident, you must provide a SSN or Tax ID # if you want a check

But they cant refuse to hire you because you dont want to wright down your SSN on the app

Of course they can. It is the law in the US that you supply a tax id for a job or if you are being paid money. The IRS likes to know where the $$ go.

When applying for a job it?s not necessary but when you get the job, supplying ssn is a requirement. sponsors need your tax id to be able to write you a check.

Not relly I have my home in their name's so just incase I get fucked over by the law they cant take anything from me it's not in my name I dont own a got damn thing and I like to keep it that way.

If I apply for a job I give them my SS#. If I apply to an affiliate program I give them my Tax ID #. That's just how it is. Why wouldn't you want to give out your info?

You know anybody at the company can just walk off with your info and who know's what they hell they can plan out with it but just dont sound like a good idea the way they have it set up even a tax id they can still use that to get company credit just seem's alittle fucked up to me.
