Someone please help, virus problem
somehow, my norton started giving me bloodhound.w32.EP virus errors and cannot fix or delete, blah blah blah....
it totally took over norton and broke liveupdate. someone recommended to uninstall norton and try macafee which i did and it still didnt fix it. this virus took over my desktop background with some bogus "your infected with spyware" error and installed a POS program called "Spysheriff" which ive uninstalled multiple times and it keeps coming back trying to get me to pay to remove the virus IT INSTALLED. Ive searched google, it's been no help. Ad-aware, spydoctore, spybot, ms antispyware, didnt work. I found some symantic instructions which didnt help cuz it wanted me to do liveupdate and this virus fucked liveupdate up. Anyone?? please please please.... this shit is annoying. |
ok:
1 - first create a new folder on your desktop - call it "trend" 2 - download and save this in the folder: http://dk.trendmicro-europe.com/ente...rt/pattern.php http://spyware.nu/gfx/artikler/fjern_virus_1.gif 3 - extract the file and save it in the "trend" folder 4 - download this and save it in the "trend" folder http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp http://spyware.nu/gfx/artikler/fjern_virus_2.gif 5 - Disable "system restore" by rightclicking your "my computer" icon and choose "properties" (remember to enable that again later) 6 - reboot in failsafe (you do that by pressing F8 while booting) Then you can choose "failsafe with network" - do that 7 - then it boots up - enter the "trend" folder and doubleclick the "sysclean.com" file, and let it do its thing If that dont fix it, it might just be malware, then download this to remove it http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ |

i always have to wait at that screen that asks me to choose which operating system to boot up with, for some reason the kb doesnt work until the machine is all booted up. no safe mode for me :( |
