Racism Rampant at Taco Bell
 

Went to taco bell tonight. Got there and it was packed. parking lot was full and all kinds of people were hanging out in it.

drivehrough backed up into the road but i waited anyways. :)

Got into line and started watching the folks in the drive through. They're generally being asses, harassing customers on the way in and out. When cars pull up they were pecking on windows and shiat. Hooting and hollering at the women. Basic drunk guy stuff.

So I get up to the drive through and the guy says

"Welcome to taco bell I like to hang out with the easter bunny on weekends how can I help you."

I had no clue what that meant, still dont, but ordered my food (new crunch wrap deal is pretty good. got one for me and one for roomate).

So I get up to the drivethrough and the drivethrough guy who does money is just leaning out and he says...

"man this is crazy." referring to the folks in the drivethrough.

"Yeah. is it always like this on weekends?" I havent gone to taco bell at night in a long time.

"I dunno my first weekend here."

"Well a whole lot of people here tonight." I says.

he says, "A whole lot of black people."

I kinda nod but am flabbergasted. I says "Well... people is people."

he laughs at this and then goes in to grab something. as he's handing my food I say, and this was a mistake I now realize....

"Well good luck with dealing with all of these people man"

"Monkeys is more like it" he says.

I just... drove away. I was actually so shocked at the time I was laughing.

Now i feel worse even for that. :(

What, he told the truth? I don't get it, what was wrong?

dont see why you have to point out they're black. dont see why you'd have to call them monkeys.

pointing otu they were causing trouble got the point across?

I dont know what country you live in, but most of the late night blackies Ive seen at Taco Bell would qualify as monkeys in my book.

Hell, most of the ghetto blackies ive seen out and about would qualify as chimpanzees at least in my book

Yeah I dont get that at all. people are people. Some are good people some arent. Color of skin doesnt cover that very well.

If a white guy was out there is HE a monkey? Then sure, the folks out there were monkeys too. But otherwise its just people being DICKS.

Wow, you mean the minimum wage fast food worker wasn't educated enough not to be racist? Shocker.

First time in a while I'd heard a racist comment in public while someone was representing a national chain, yes :)

kids working at fast food places don't represent a company----they dont give a fuck about that job.

its everywhere in fastfood chains, Marocs speaking of whores when white girls entered, white ppl talking bout monkeys, indos to marocs and every other race against eachother, oh I forgot the pig noises they made to germans on the McD at the beach.

Like said they represent nothing but stupid underpaid clueless ppl, some of them work there for like 10 yrs and get kicked cause theyre too old. Not the smartest ppl around imho.

Once, while driving through Gallup, NM, I encountered the same thing. If you've never had the pleasure of going to Gallup, it's a god awful town full of angry people, mostly Mexicans and Indians.

I was completely ignored, even at Walmart. No one would ring me up for purchases or look at me. But when they did, I received nothing but dirt looks and attitutes. So leaving town, I stopped at Taco Bell (not a good decision with another 4 hour drive ahead of me). They had me wait in the drive thru for 30 minutes then gave me the wrong food and a 'fuck you whitey' when they brought out the food. I think they also pissed in my drink.

Needless to say, Gallup isn't on my list of Top 10 vacation stop recommendations.
