Dubya be the man...

Check out these other George W. Bush quotes:

"Republicans understand the importance of bondage between mother and child."

"It's important for us to explain to our nation that life is important. It's not only life of babies, but it's life of children living in, you know, the dark dungeons of the Internet."

"Mars is essentially in the same orbit... Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe."

"I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy, but that could change."

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century."

"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."

"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur."

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

"[It's] time for the human race to enter the solar system."

Truly inspirational words from the Commander-In-Chief.

Maybe if Lee understood our election process, he would know that "We The People" don't elect the President.

Almost without exception.. everytime I end up rushing by a TV set to avoid having to listen to his crap - ya still get more fluffed propaganda before ya get out of earshot.

Sadly it ain't even funny - this is the person who supposed to be a leader of one of the largest ecomonies in the world (sorry.. that ain't even accurate - even the Bank of China is financing their bs to the tune of a few billion a day).

I can't think of a more inept character who has led any western country in the last 100 years.

The last election was won by threatening to take away millions of dollars worth of funds from states that didn't put in the new machines with no paper trail.

mardigras 06-19-2005 12:27 AM

Sometimes Bushisms are more scarey than funny:

"See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda"

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." - Joseph Goebbels (Propaganda Minister Nazi Germany WWII)

"Repetition does not transform a lie into a truth." - F.D.R.

Wrong, the last election was won because he targeted the redneck souhern schmucks who have an IQ slightly lower than his own with promises which bare resemblences to the 'white power' movement in the 50's.

The only difference is, this time he wasnt targetting blacks, he was targeting everyone who wasnt a bible thumping middle-lower-class straight white male or female.

Lee

Well that helped too :winkwink:

If you go back and look at all of the prescincts that had voting irregularities most of them favored the Republicans, and why wouldn't they, Republicans owned the companies that make the machines. This goes way beyond Diebold.
