"Many of the worlds most successful people"

"Were motivated not by money, but by wanting to be remembered as doing something of lasting importance."

Agree or disagree?

agree to some point.
maybe back in the day (Christopher Columbus, Edison, Einstein, etc) they didnt care about money, but in todays world, you have Trump, who wanted nothing but money. so i'd say it depends on what era they're refering about.

Many of the worlds most successful people were teased to much. Somewhere in the back of their heads they thought one day I will fire you.

He wasnt a great entrepreneur, just someone who happened to have a product that everyone came to rely upon and ultimately could not do without at a crucial time when computers became the big thing.

Its just timing, and series of fortunate events.

Doesn't hurt that he didn't really have to think of anything himself, he just stole other peoples ideas.

Don't know if I agree with that statement. Guess it's how you define "successful". There's plenty of rich people, who I think lead sad, lifeless, lonely lives and then you have those who are happy just to have a job, a family and a roof over their head.

*shrug*
