I remember either last week or the week before someone mentioned buying myspace stock (MIX). Well, it's up this week and I sold it today. Thanks to whomever mentioned the company, you made me richer :thumbsup.

20% is not through the roof. I think most refer to it as going over 100%, but I refer to it as more than 200%.

It was trading for $4 a share in late April 05, now almost $8 a share.

they have to make good bank on the ad sales from that site

Myspace only accounts for 1/3 of MIX's revenue. Eventually it will be more like 90%.

This company makes 99% of its money off of ads. Eventually that stream is going to go dry.

:) no it was 85,000 shares half of which got at 4.50 and the other half I got at 5.90 I sold 45K shares at 7 bucks then bought them back at 6.50 and then sold them again at 7.95 muhahahhah do the math HOME FUCKING RUN ! Still holding 40K shares gonna see what happens if it goes back to 7 I will laod up again. If it goes to like 12 I will dump my other 40K shares. :)

If ya bought and made money congrats ! It could have easily gone the other way... Only gamble with money you can afford to loose.

People havent een heard of MySpace in the UK. If they could break some ground here and across Europe the price will increase massivily.

They don't run ads. It's grown by word of mouth. BTW, I have seen non-US members on the site, especially on the oasis groups.

MySpace is a strong site right now. But lets not forget that it wasn't long ago that the .com industry nearly collapsed on weak business plans built on hopes and dreams and valuations based on ad revenue.

Myspace has been in the black since the site started, which will hopefully put the company in the black too.

Just passed $8 again.

Yet they needed 5 million for development. Run pretty shitty considering the potential.

It's looking good, a little too volatile for me though. Right now I have KWK which is up 12% in the last week and a half :thumbsup
