6.4 Quake Hits Off Cali Coast!

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqinthenews/2005/uszkal/

This makes big quake 4.

Greg B 06-17-2005 02:51 AM

oops make that 6.6

DutchTeenCash 06-17-2005 02:53 AM

damn they just keep coming

Matt 26z 06-17-2005 02:55 AM

After the big one hits I have it on good authority that the mothership (Prophet YahWeh's) will come out of a hole in the ground.

DWB 06-17-2005 03:00 AM

I would be leaving Cali right about now.

Greg B 06-17-2005 03:09 AM

Nah this good news. Means the plates are releasing pressure away from populated areas and doing so horizontally not verticle.

Greg B 06-17-2005 08:23 AM

Okay so people are buying earthquake supplies etc. How prepared are you? Did you buy one of those $50 earthquake kits from the Red Cross?

cyber_ninja 06-17-2005 08:25 AM

im glad im in norther california, not 1 quake that i can remember :thumbsup

angel_x3ws 06-17-2005 08:31 AM

well, i hope nobody has been seriouly hurt from the quake... i know a few people from cali and i hope they're safe..

BradM 06-17-2005 08:33 AM

I'm not buying shit. This is just a temporary pressure release. People are just buying into panic.

Cory W 06-17-2005 09:11 AM

The temporary pressure release is not considered valid in every case. Yesterday's LA quake shifted the San Andreas fault putting it in the possible "foreshock" category.

It is more likely that a larger quake is on the horizon.

Tala 06-17-2005 09:13 AM

oh yay. :helpme

So....umm....can I move to tornado alley instead?

Zprogramz 06-17-2005 09:25 AM

Does this man a big one is coming or is it just relieving pressure in the area?

I am selling beachfront property in Nevada for cheap :)

Sosa 06-17-2005 10:04 AM

damn that sucks.

Greg B 06-17-2005 10:09 AM

yeah well if this shit keeps up real estate may suffer. If a big quake hits now or goodness knows an offshore tsunami to the coast hits real estate is gonna take a dive.

Following that same logic... you lose millions of skin cells every day. So if I were to take some pliars and rip a two foot piece of skin off ya that would be no big deal right? :)
