Best way to invest $10K into a TGP/MGP site?
 

Just currious how some of you would spend $10,000 on a TGP/MGP site.

Buying traffic is a no brainer but what would be other things that can be done?

why would you want to spend that on a TGP/MGP?
maybe a whole network of them

After traffic......I'd spend a little on design and logo and if it was a thumb preview I'd have the thumbs professionaly done.

Because TGP/MGP sites can be VERY profitable.

invest in a fast-loading design.
get a custom script to make it original. dont spend too much on the actual TGP tho
you can put some money into feeder traffic, but unless you got something really good it won't be recurring.

make galleries. and go through a traffic agent to purchase paid listings on top sites like worldsex, al4a, hun, etc.

I really dont think a design is needed much for an MGP/TGP site. Just look at thehun. lol

try buying some "fixed links" from big sites that dont skim traffic....

Yeah that falls into buying traffic, but thanks for the tip. I am sure hardlinks have 10x better quality than traffic thats skimmed.

Yeah but the hun has its market. Everyone can pretty much get the same galleries on their site so you need something that sets you aside from everyone else. A good design (and notice I said spend a little on it and not a lot) will help you. Yes, ppl are coming to see porn but there are a few things that may make ppl come back to your site which is the goal and a decent design can help.

it gives you instant credibility that you wont get from 404 or exit traffic, plus your surfer base will build up much quicker.. downside is....it will cost more $$

What are you asking per month for a hard lnk?

Any idea how much money it would cost per 1,000hits for a hardlink on large sites?

I'd pay by the month not the quantity.

I guess it depends on the textlink and how well it pulls.

we used to sell them @50.00 a day for a 30 day period...
but i stopped selling them last year...seriously though, email some of the top 20 TGP sites, there could be some possiblities out there...

It's hard getting a fair deal for a text link since you're competing against those that buy the spots to send directly to paysites.

I too would build a network of them, and then throw traffic at it through a mix of hardlinks and per thousand.


Also, custom scripts and innovative templates are a must.

So not much else to invest in other than traffic than I guess. I sure dont take long to burn 10k buying traffic. What would be the best bang for the buck traffic wise?

Buy geo-targeted from your specific market, or at least buy from a reputable guy.

I've seen too many idiots throw away hundreds or thousands on "bargain" traffic, and then wonder why russian/chinese hitbots and people in thailand with no CC don't convert.

10K on tgp / mgp site is just too much I think.

10k is a small price to pay when you can potentially make 30k/month from the site.

You can also buy niche specific traffic.

I have most categories on my site.. its not a niche site.

It would be follish to invest 10 grand in TGP sites rather than much more profitable types of sites...
