I would but it seems like there are few of these cars available only 1000 sent to th us in 2005.... Still trying to find one in the bay area.

I dont know how people do it blow like 1 mil on cars. I would have to have like 50 mil in the bank before I would blow 1 mil on cars, and even then i would really have to think hard about it. I just can not justify that kinda expense on a car.

A lot of the million dollar cars are investments. Most of the people that own an Enzo paid 500-600k for them and they could sell them today for a million easy. Me, I couldn't do it either because I'd want to drive it everyday and then it would lose value.

If you buy cars like that, you always have to buy them in pairs.
One to drive and one to store.

The SLK55 is nice and I'm sure it's quick, but I would much rather have Mark's SL55. It's simply incredible!

I measure how much stuff cost by how many top ramen noodle packs it could buy instead.

I can buy expensive things if I know they will make me money. But I like a good deal. I wanna feel like I got super bang for the buck. I just can not justify spending 150-200K on a car. I would rather buy another property or some more stock ! That is much more likely to retain value or go up. When teh adult web is long gone i still wanna be sittin fat, not selling off my depreciated assets :)

SL all the way. Been in both and I am a big dude. 6'4" 250. The SL compares to a viper speed/power wise, but drives like how a merc drives. 110 and its smooth and still fairly quiet. The SL 350 is fun to drive, but the 55 is obviously the nicer car. Honestly I would consider a Nissan 350Z roadster over a 350. I know it's not a "merc" but it sounds like the name isn't that big of a deal to you.
I fit in the SL55, it's a beautiful car inside and out. If you got the $ treat yourself.

The SLK is bigger than the previous SLK model but still very small, not much roomier than a Miata. The SL 55 is supercharged. That car is money. The SL 65 twin turbo is un-real.

I'm a Mercedes guy, no matter what you buy you won't be disappointed. I'd go SL 500 or SL 55, get it a year old and save the $$$$$$$.

Right I was also thinking of leasing the 500 and righting it off. Using it for the commute to Palo Alto Adult Friend Finder headquarters !

That car is a piece of shit. I owned one and sold it after 3 months. Mercedes has gone to shit as a company. For the same money, you can get a BMW M3 which is what I am about to buy. I know Mitch from Netbilling and Chris Mallick both own M3 convertibles and love them.
