i have some 'goo gone' type stuff to help remove the residue, hopefully it wont fuck up my paint. im going to put it on a rag and use it like that, not directly spray the shit on my car. this is TEDIOUS is there no faster way ? at this rate its going to take like 9 hours |

then rubbing alcohol |
goo gone, i used it to take off all my badges.
|
heat gun / lacquer thinner
|
Hair dryer and a plastic spatula, then use the googone to get the glue off.
|
use a heat to peel back the remaining pin stripes and use vegetable oil to remove the sticky residue. the veggi oil is safe on the paint and washes off with no problems.
you can thank me later. |
Just buy a new car. One without pin stripes.
|
steel wool pads

thats what I was gonna recommend. use a hair dryer or something and heat it up, slowly peel off. then rubbing alcohol should get the sticky adhesive off. :thumbsup |

hairdryer + goo gone worked gotta heat up the pinstripes and then slowly peel them off then use the goo gone and scrub hard to get the residue off. it took me like 2 fucking hours! it looks oh so much better now :upsidedow |
