Double Opt-In signups would prevent most fraud.

I canceled another phoney ACH transaction today because the email bounced. And when I keyed the address into Google Maps, it didn't exist. At the VERY least processors should be requiring the customer to reply to a confirmation link in their email. I'm positive this would prevent most of these scammers from trying to sign up.

Then we could at least have some legimate form of contact between them in the chance they were a fraudulent subscriber.
